Alessandro Accinni is a founding partner of the Firm, together with Francesco Cartolano.
Graduated from "Università degli Studi" of Milan, he deals mainly with civil law and corporate law, as well as, in particular, banking law and financial intermediaries.
He is specialized in assisting and advising clients such as fiduciary companies, trust companies and financial intermediaries; in this respect, Alessandro is consultant to leading private banking and wealth management players.
He has also an extensive expertise with respect to litigation (ordinary proceedings, arbitration proceedings, cautionary measures).
Alessandro is a former partner of Studio Galgano (Milan office) and Dewey & LeBoeuf.
He is a member of the Bar Association of Milan and admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione).

Francesco Cartolano

Francesco Cartolano is the co-founder of the Firm together with Alessandro Accinni. Francesco Cartolano has a deep experience in M&A and corporate law and his practice focuses on private equity, LBO’s financing and debt restructuring. Among his clients, he counts several management companies of closed end funds (SGR - “società di gestione del risparmio”), Italian holding companies and listed companies.
Francesco Cartolano has been an equity partner in Dewey & LeBoeuf Studio Legale from 2008 to 2012. From 1999 to 2007 he worked for Studio Legale e Tributario Camozzi Bonissoni Varrenti & Associati (now CBA) where he became a partner in 2001.

Chiara Cella is a partner of the Firm. Her experience is the corporate practice area, advising on mergers and acquisitions, as well as on private equity transactions. She also has experience in general corporate commercial law, company law and litigation (in connection with M&A transactions too).
Before joining Accinni, Cartolano e Associati, Chiara Cella was an associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf Studio Legale, Studio Legale e Tributario Camozzi Bonissoni Varrenti & Associati (now CBA) and Studio Legale Associato Curti Prati Pappalardo.

Paola Cigolini

Paola Cigolini is a partner of the Firm. Her experience focuses on corporate and commercial practice area as well as M&A transactions and private banking.
She advises financial institutions on all aspects of Italian Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations. In particular, she audits compliance with requirements for customer due diligence measures, she supports Clients in drafting and revising Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures, she assists Clients with their Anti-Money Laundering-related issues and proceedings.
She also represents and advises clients in judicial proceedings and commercial dispute resolutions.
Before joining Accinni, Cartolano e Associati, Paola Cigolini was an associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf Studio Legale. After an initial experience in a traditional law firm, Paola Cigolini worked within the legal department of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., London office. From 2002 to 2007 she worked with Studio Legale Galgano.
